Hand Sharpening: Tailored for Optimal Performance

  • Customization: Hand sharpening allows for precise control over the sharpening process, catering to the specific needs and preferences of the skater. Adjustments can be made to the radius of the hollow and edge angle.
  • Attention to Detail: Skilled technicians can ensure a uniform edge, removing any imperfections and inconsistencies that might be missed by a machine.
  • Preservation of Blade: Hand sharpening typically removes less metal from the blade than machine sharpening, which can extend the life of the skate blades.
  • Problem-Solving: A human sharpener can identify and correct issues such as uneven edges, nicks, or burrs that an automatic machine might overlook.
